Convention 2010 -- Spokane:

"The Deacon as Sacramental Minister" is the theme of the NADD 2010 Convention. We begin with the Directors' Workshop, Wives' Workshop, and NDI project presentations on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 14th. That evening, Bishop Skylstad will celebrate our opening Mass followed by a chance to renew friendships at the Welcome Reception.

Our first keynote speaker is on Thursday, the 15th. That day's events include Business Meeting #1 and a series of three workshops. On Friday, April 16, the workshops are repeated for your convenience, Business Meeting #2 will be conducted, and then there will be three Interest Sessions.

The closing Mass with Bishop Cisneros will be on Friday evening and it will include the ceremony to install new officers. That evening will also feature a reception, awards banquet, and a keynote address by Bishop Cisneros.

Come to Spokane for the Convention but stay to enjoy the city for its combination of outdoor beauty and cosmopolitan attractions. The Convention will be held at the Red Lion Hotel which is at the edge of Riverfront Park on the banks of the cascading Spokane River. Take a stroll around the park or travel across the footbridge to some of downtown Spokane's best shopping and dining.

Detailed convention information and registration materials will be coming soon. This year NADD will offer on-line registration in addition to mail-in registration. On-line registration will enable participants to use PayPal to register with a credit card. Spokane is surprisingly affordable, so plan now to join us in April!
