National Association of Diaconate Directors

The National Directory Institute is designed to help anyone who holds the responsibility of forming men as deacons. NDI is for directors who:

face challenges from their bishops to implement the National Directory
look for new ways to integrate the normative elements of the Directory into their formation programs
seek new insights into the theology, goals and objectives of the National Directory
who need help to launch and/or sustain successful programs

To help bishops implement the Directory, the National Association of Diaconate Directors (NADD), in consultation with the Committee on Clergy, Consecrated Life and Vocations, provides training for new diaconate directors.

The Institute is open to all directors, regardless of their experience or time in service as a director. We firmly believe that, in such important matters as formation and ministry, there is always something new and valuable to be learned. We encourage you to consider sending one or more members of your staff to the Institute to benefit the people of God in your diocese.”
